15 random questions tag

So I have seen a few bloggers and YouTuber's too doing this tag so I thought as I'm in the early stages of my blog I would jump on the band wagon and do a popular tag which will help people get to know me a little bit better. Enjoy!

1. What is a nickname that only your family call you?
- when I was younger my grandad used to call me flower, I have no idea but it was a cute little nickname but now I'm older he just calls me Demi like the rest of my family but sometimes my mum calls me prinny and she has done for as long as I can remember.

2. What is a weird habit of yours?
- A weird habit of mine is how I paint my nails but I can't have the same coloured nail varnish on for longer than a day so I pick it off and paint them a different colour. I never use nail varnish remover on the nails on my hands because I'm just a little bit weird and find it more fun picking it off.

3. Do you have any weird phobias?
- A weird phobia of mine has to be the fact that when I am in the water whether it be in the sea, a lake or a swimming pool, if I can't see my feet at the bottom of the water or I can't feel the floor then I start to panic and feel like I'm going to start drowning and I get really scared. The strange thing about this is that I can actually swim but because of the fear that I have I don't really like the water that much.

4. What song do you secretly love to blast and belt out when you are alone?
- For me this is probably the easiest question out of the whole 15 random questions and for me this definitely has to be defying gravity from wicked because when I am alone I belt that song at the top of my voice and pretend that I am on the westend or broadway playing Elphaba.. Is that weird?! Also another song that I love to belt out but with my friends is gotta go my own way from high school musical and I don't know why this is always our go to song to belt out but we have an absolute ball and we definitely think that we are a girlband.

5. What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
- One of the things that absolutely winds me up is when people are really good at something and they know for a fact that they are so they think that it is okay to stick their noses up at others who may not be as good as they are because they are just big headed and stuck up.

6. What is one of your nervous habits?
- One of my nervous habits

7. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
- I have two rooms, one in my grans house and one in my mums house and that's because I'm in my grans a lot of the time. In my grans house I only have a single bed so I just starfish as much as I can in the bed until I'm comfortable but when I sleep in the bed in my mums I have a double bed so I sleep in the left side of the bed because somehow I feel like it's a lot more comfortable than the right hand side of the bed. I'm just weird.

8. What was your first stuffed animal and what was it's name?
- I can't remember what my first stuffed animal was called so instead of stuffed animal I'm gonna talk about a stuffed doll. My first and only stuffed doll was the one I got when I was first born and it's name was Emily and although it's embarrassing I only stopped sleeping with Emily when I went into year 7 of high school.

9. What is the drink that you always order at Starbucks?
- my favourite drink from Starbucks has to be the caramel frappechinos so every single time I'm in Starbucks that is what I order. It is the most gorgeous drink in the world.

10. What's the beauty rule that you preach but never practice?
- The beauty rule that I always try to stress to people is to use a makeup remover of some sort instead of any kind of makeup wipes because makeup remover is so much better for your skin and gets your makeup off so much better but instead of me following my own advice I stick to the simplest option and instead just take my makeup off with makeup wipes purely because I'm lazy and think that it is so much less effort taking your makeup off with wipes in the night because sometime you can't be bothered to use a makeup remover and then use face scrub and have a proper nighttime regime for when your taking your makeup off.

11. Which way do you face in the shower?
- This question really just depends on what I am doing in the shower. If I am washing my hair and getting the shampoo and conditioner off my hair I will face away from the shower head and just put my head under it but if I am washing off my shower gel/shower cream then I will face the shower head so I make sure to wash all the product off me.

12. What are your weird body skills?
- I have two weird body skills. I can click the majority of my bones which some people worry about because they don't think it is very normal. I can click my toes, my ankles, my hips, my back, my shoulders, my wrists, my fingers and my neck. Also if I kneel down on the floor my knees pop. My other weird body skill is that I can bend my thumb down to my wrist.

13. What's your favourite comfort food that is bad but you love to eat it anyway?
- A lot of people say that their favourite comfort food would be chocolate but mine has definitely got to be crisps, I have no idea why but I would so much rather sit down with a bag of crisps than chocolate.

14. What is a phrase of exclamation what you always say?
- I have two things that I always tend to say in conversation and they always seem to be either 'ey' or 'girl' and I have no idea why but I think it has just became a habit now.

15. Time to sleep. What are you actually wearing?
- When I go to sleep I either sleep in just my underwear or joggers and a best top because I just find them the comfiest things to sleep in personally and also I can't wear socks when I'm going to sleep because I just feel that my feet are getting suffocated.

Kendall owned fashion week

So it's clear that everyone on twitter and Instagram have been absolutely raving about Kendall Jenner at New York fashion week and I'm not surprised at all because she looked absolutely flawless in every single picture I've seen of her.
Everytime I see pictures of Kendall she looks more and more like a model and I think now that she has removed her surname from her modelling title a lot of people are beginning to take her a lot more seriously in the modelling world and I think that is such a good thing because she is such a stunning and amazing model and she is always a gorgeous face to see on the runway pictures of all the designers that she models for.
So I have been searching the internet for my favourite pictures of Kendall from a few of the runways that she walked down on fashion week and these are my top picks:

This picture of Kendall is absolutely amazing. Although I think the dress is not the nicest of dresses I do think that she completely owns the whole outfit and I think it is good to see Kendall in a more edgy outfit because it gives people a different perspective of her and not see her as a little girl although she is 18. I really do wish that she had more of a simple shoe and maybe not such intense bracelets but I think that the makeup is stunning as it's very natural and bronzed looking and not over the top which is good as it focuses the attention to the dress which of course everyone at the show was there to see and I think the hair looks really good pushed back. Sometimes the simplest hair and makeup can really make a look that little bit better. 

This is by far my favourite picture of Kendall in all the pictures of her that I have seen, she looks INCREDIBLE!! I think this dress for a starter is stunning, in my opinion I'm a bit confused why this dress has been showcased as were in autumn as it's a lot more of a summery kind of dress in my view but I still love it. I think this dress is so cute and girly but also it can be paired up with some really amazing killer heels to make it look more like a cute evening dress paired with some really pretty jewellery and a nice clutch bag if you were going for a nice meal in a classy restaurant. I love the way this dress has the gorgeous flowery crochet detail on top of the black material because this reminds me of some crochet pieces I have which look really pretty when paired up with the perfect outfit, makeup and accessories. Also on this dress I LOVE the back as it makes the dress look once again slightly more edgy and more mature looking and I think this is a really good for dress for Kendall to wear as it shows her more mature model side. Finally her makeup in this is gorgeous, I love this smokey eye look on Kendall and I think this makeup pairs really well with the dress that she's wearing as it makes the dress look more like an evening dress than if she was wearing a very simple makeup. Personally for me I would have preferred for Kendall to have had a colour or  maybe a nude gloss on her lips instead of a matte nude colour because for me I think that with the smokey eye that she has it would have made the makeup a lot prettier and it would have finished it off really well.

Now this dress although it is not my favourite is more of the thing I was sort of expecting to see on the New York runway for the autumn time based on the colours in the dress. All the oranges, browns, reds and purples that are in the dress are the perfect colours for autumn going into the winter as they're very warm colours and they mix really well wearing warm colours as we are in/going into the colder seasons. For the autumn I don't think a maxi dress is a perfect idea because of course we are going into the colder seasons but I think that it doesn't matter that much with this dress because the colours eliminate the idea of the cold autumn and winter months. I love this picture of Kendall because she looks truly stunning in this picture and the way the loose chiffon material hangs on her is just beautiful. One thing I'm not fussed on with this look is Kendall's hair. I think that the hair stylish at this runway show could have done so much more with Kendall's hair rather than putting it in a middle part and having the loose curls like curtains at the side of her face. Personally I think a messy bun would have looked gorgeous with this dress because it's out of the way and the main focus should be on the dress as it is the star of the show and it also has a lot going on with it without loosing focus because of her hair. I also wish that Kendall would have had a little bit more of a pink lip and I think that would have made the look super pretty.

This is a close up of Kendall's makeup from the same runway show as the one above and I think her eyes look lovely and simple but yet again I really wish she had a pretty pink lip to bring this whole look together.

I LOVE THESE PICTURES!! This picture for me is absolutely incredible. For me this picture reminds me of a sort of Japanese kind of theme by the way that Kendall has her hair tied back with the little red flower in her hair. Her makeup for me is just right, she has her skin nice and dewey with a flawless foundation and a light blush to add a bit of colour to her cheeks with no contour which makes the look more young and refreshing, she has very simple eyes with what looks like a darkish coloured brown shade in her crease with a pearly more shinier shade in the tear duct area going towards the middle of the lid with a simple flicked eyeliner and a bold berry coloured lip. I think the berry coloured lip really makes this look pop. I am such a big fan of dark coloured lips and I wear dark shades on myself from time to time because I think some dark colours can look gorgeous without washing you out and I think that this colour is one of them colours and it is the perfect colour for the autumn time.

And finally my final picture of Kendall from fashion week. I think Kendall looks so gorgeous in this picture and it really reminds me of a boho kind of festival look. I think the crop top is a really cute piece and I love the maroon/wine colour of the top which is a really nice colour for the autumn time. The thing that makes this look for me is the hair and makeup on Kendall. Her gorgeous smokey eye makes the look very edgy and sexy looking and the hair looks really pretty and slick all straightened and put into a middle part. For me this look is absolutely perfect and I think she looks stunning.

I've loved looking through all the gorgeous pictures of Kendall from fashion week and hopefully everyone else has enjoyed looking at her hair, makeup and clothes just as much as I have. Until next year, fashion week goodbye😘
